Nationwide Automobile Tire & Wheel Coverage

The road hazard coverage afforded under this agreement applies to any tire or wheel that is on the covered automobile.

Road hazards are those unusual conditions that may occur on the highway such as pot holes, nails, glass, and other hazardous materials. The period of protection is from the purchase date of the contract or until there is 2/32nds of an inch of tread depth remaining on the tire, whichever comes first.

Deductible: $0. There will be no deductible charged.

Flat Tires: We will reimburse You for the charges incurred to repair a flat tire caused by a Road Hazard while operating the Vehicle on public streets in a legal manner.

Tire Replacement: You will be reimbursed for the cost incurred to replace a tire, if a tire covered by this Agreement becomes unrepairable due to a Road Hazard such as a cut, tear, or puncture. This coverage is valid through the tread life of the tire (down to 2/32") and will be replaced with a tire of like kind, quality and cost to the original tire. Tires must be available for inspection to validate claim approval.

Wheels (Rims): You will be reimbursed for the repair or replacement of wheels rendered unserviceable due to the Road Hazard failure of a tire covered under this Agreement. Wheels must be available for inspection to validate claim approval.

Mounting and Balancing You will be reimbursed for the cost of mounting, balancing, and valve stems for any tire replaced under this agreement.

Taxes: You will be reimbursed for the cost of local and state taxes, as directed by state agencies.

​

Road Service: You will be reimbursed for the cost of road service when directly related to the repair or replacement of covered tire or wheel, up to, but not exceeding one hundred dollars ($100).​
